TLEA has partnered with the Kwinana Industries Council (KIC) to source candidates through the KIC pre-apprenticeship program and through the KIC Education Partnership (Certificate of Commitment). These programs engage students from 21 schools in the Kwinana, Rockingham, and Cockburn areas.

Applications are also open to family and friends of TLEA employees and long-term contractors.
