Worker participation is a key step in managing risk in the workplace. We aim to increase personal ownership for safety by providing effective training and forums for our workers to actively contribute to improving HSE performance.

Effective risk management

We aspire to develop an organisational mindset where risks and controls are understood by leaders and workers, and multiple layers of control are identified, implemented, and regularly reviewed to minimise failure.

Enabling systems

A clear set of guiding policies, standards, and procedures is critical for managing the risk associated with our operations. TLEA is committed to maintaining a HSE management system that is risk-based, fit for purpose, accessible, understood, effectively implemented, and regularly verified for compliance.

Reconciliation Action Plan

Our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) demonstrates respect for the rights, culture and history of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate. Our RAP provides a framework for meaningful engagement, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business initiatives, all while fostering a more inclusive and sustainable future.
