Sichuan Media Group Showcases WA Lithium Story to Global Audiences
We were proud to welcome a film crew from the Sichuan Media Group to our Kwinana plant and Greenbushes operation recently, as part of an exciting international media collaboration. The crew produced a series of short videos for distribution across major social media platforms including WeChat, YouTube, and TikTok, aimed at sharing the story of Western Australia’s growing lithium industry with audiences in China and around the world.
During their visit, the crew engaged with team members across both sites to explore the unique cultural exchange between our Australian and Chinese colleagues. Through interviews and on-site filming, they captured insights into how we’ve learned from each other, embraced our differences, and built a collaborative working environment that reflects mutual respect and shared purpose.
The videos will also highlight the strategic importance of our operations, particularly the Kwinana plant – Western Australia’s first lithium hydroxide refinery. As global demand for battery minerals continues to rise, our facilities play a vital role in supporting the clean energy transition and contributing to the state’s economic development.
