TLEA welcomes WA Government support
Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia (TLEA) welcomes the continuation of the Lithium Industry Support Program (LISP) and the development of a fit‑for‑purpose standard that will provide confidence for the use of delithiated beta spodumene (DBS) in public projects.
Establishing a clear and consistent standard is an important step in enabling the use of DBS across government and industry applications.
We thank the Western Australian Government for its ongoing leadership and support in progressing initiatives that encourage innovation and sustainable outcomes across the lithium industry.
We continue to work closely with the Western Australian Government and other stakeholders to collaborate on the development of commercial markets for our DBS (known as Tianqi aluminosilicate) and gypsum products.
This includes advancing their use as value‑add materials for agriculture, concrete and public infrastructure projects—supporting a more circular economy and delivering long‑term benefits for Western Australia.
